10M Ferry / Watertaxi
Developed for pleasure trips both inland and offshore, the BOBKAT 10M FERRY / WATER TAXI range, are ideal for comfortable day cruises, water safaris and harbour tours.
This GRP catamaran provides optimal stability and low hull resistance. Six watertight compartments add to the safety factor that no monohull can equal.
Seating for 33 to 50 can be provided for, as well as a fully fitted helm and optional toilet and storeroom. 360 Degree views are ensured for all passengers with seating arrangements to the client's specification. Added options allow for an upper viewing deck, built in bar and various other additions as required by the client.
The GRP and glass superstructure as above is standard can be fitted with air conditioning or with open sides and roof cover only. Seating can be aircraft type seating or with benches depending on the number of passengers and level of luxury required by the client.
Propulsion can be either outboards, or for higher speeds in excess of 35 knots, with diesel inboard. If a shallow draft is required then jet drives are recommended instead of outdrives.
Electric propulsion is a further option if silent, low running cost is required.
