10M & 12M Patrol / Workboats
Developed for paramilitary applications worldwide the BOBKATTM 10M & 12M PATROL BOATS are favourites for maritime operations that demand the maximum from a workboat.
The BOBKATTM PATROL designs are ideally suited to air/sea rescue, offshore environmental and territorial protection, as well as coastal policing. It has the speed, ruggedness and durability required for this application.
All BOBKATTM designs are subject to stringent simulation in a test tank environment to evaluate both hydro-dynamic and sea-keeping abilities. Water jet propulsion gives a shallow draught with excellent manoeuvring and stopping capabilities unequalled by any other system. Sprint speeds are in excess of 40 knots with excellent economy and propulsion efficiency up to sea state 5.
Optimal stability in quartering, confused or heavy seas, together with marked reduction in vertical motions and slamming is attained with this design. Unique tunnel steps create a two phase medium of water and air while the sponson configuration assures inside banking in tight turns with a remarkably small turning circle.
The features below, together with correct weight distribution and the unique symmetrical bow design allows for non-broaching in the heaviest of following seas. Fore-deck, rear-deck and wheel house roof can be used for mounting controlled machine guns or other weapons.
The spacious level aft deck allows ample working space, with accommodation consisting of three single berths, head and fully fitted galley. A secure chart room and numerous lockers provide ample storage space, to be configured to client's specifications.
These craft can be crewed effectively by only two persons.

2 single berths, separate heads and washbasin, separate captains quarters, fitted galley.
Construction
Hand lay-up GRP in female moulds complying with Lloyds Rules and Regulations for Small Craft. Six watertight bulkheads below deck and serviced by electrical bilge pumps with switches. Armourplate windscreen and polycarbonate windows.
