Design Specification

Accommodation

Standard cabin - top and sides incorporating laminated glass all round and 316 grade stainless steel fittings throughout. The forward starboard cabin has a double berth with storage facilities. In the aft starboard sponson there is a complete head with manual flush-out toilet, basin with fresh water, a stand up shower with pump-out sump. Ceiling cover is vinyl. Flooring is covered using Flotex or equivalent carpet. In the port sponson there are rod storage racks together with a work surface and cupboards. The aft section and sides have a fixed bunk.

Helm

On the upper deck the main steering / navigation station will be housed mid-ships, with a comfortable skipper's station with drinks cabinet, fridge and footrest. Slightly aft to the port side is a tabletop with L-shaped seat and dining table on the port aft quarter. On the starboard side, are storage cupboards, a counter top and electrical sockets. Flooring will be Flotex or equivalent. Ceiling will be vinyl.

Galley

Provision for a galley including a microwave, stove and sink is made in the starboard centre compartment.

Saloon

There is a PVC opening door and window behind the dining table. The aft deck is open with two bench seats up against the cabin. A central fish / storage box is on the aft deck which includes a live-bail well, tackle draws and an icebox. Direct access to both the engines and v-drives is through the deck. Special reinforcement for the fighting chair is placed on the top of the central fish box. Two transom doors give access to both the port and starboard swim platforms. There is a pair of lunar tubes off the transom.

Engine Compartments

The engine compartments are insulated and house the auxiliary steering system, batteries and pumps. The deck has a standard non-skid finish. The forward deck houses the windlass and anchor box. Timber beading is used as a rub-rail.

Glazing

Forward cabin windows are armoured glass or similar approved. Allowance is made for 2 small Lewmar hatches and 4 medium Lewmar hatches. The fly-bridge screen is of poly-carbonate.

Upholstery

All external upholstery is 'waterproofed' and of a high grade vinyl. All cockpit cushions are done in vinyl - colours and texture to be decided by the client. Cabin interior roof is marine-style vinyl lining.

Electrical Hardware

Wind-screen wipers, microwave, 80 litre fridge with freezer compartment, electric hob, windlass with two anchor chains and rope - controlled from both the top and bottom helm stations.

Fuel System

Two 700 Litre aluminium tanks are fitted mid-ships and will have access for cleaning. Remote fuel shut-off valves are positioned in the downstairs cockpit. All filters are easily accessible. Fuel filters are lockable.

Steering & Control

A duel station, hydraulic steering system is fitted, complete with a manual override, mounted in one of the engine compartments. Morse electronic controls are fitted, both to top and downstairs helm stations.

Propulsion

2 x Yanmar 6LY2 - 450 hp engines with gearboxes, gauges and harnesses for top and bottom control stations. Twin disc V - drive remote mounted gearboxes inclusive of trolling valves - Cardan shafts included. Propeller drive gear including P-brackets, rudders, shafts and dry seals.
